This may help:

My batteries 110ah and 70ah are at 100% at 12.7 and 13.8 (weirdly) respectively

Always check you battery level about 8 hours or more after charging as this will give
you a true reading.
A 12volt battery in perfect condition will read 12.8 when fully charged.
If they are reading 12.2 after charging then its time to replace.

Interesting, my twin van batteries are eight years old (Hiace) one has a live feed for the pump that's been running every day for at least two years probably more. They both read 12.8v so I guess they are fine.  :o
