I valet cars aswell as window cleaning, i would like to have my karcher using the purewater from the tank in the van, thing thats making me wonder, is i would have the water comming through 100m of microbore hose, would i need to turn the pump down to a low setting flow rate? Just until it has got to the end of the hose?

Bill, would you not be better off just gravity feeding the water to the PW rather than using your pump and going through 100 mtr hose ?  I would imagine that you would struggle to get enough flow rate to the inlet PW  . Ed

A wfp pump only gives about 6 ltrs/min. Just fit a tee on the tank outlet - easy if you have a hoseloc and run the hose directly to the washer

What do you have at the outlet of the tank ?

my outlet is external on the van, its not a hoselock fitting its a hmmmm...its metal lol.... are they called EZ snaps or something like that?

No - I'm on about where the water comes out of the tank - before the pump. You should have a valve and then a tail or a hoselock - its here the tee needs to go

ahhh I see, could you link me were I could find one of these valves, I think I understand what your saying now, the pipe BEFORE the pump, put one of these valves in and that's what I can use,

You need to tell me how the water gets from the tank to the pump - can you post a picture or email a photo to me ? Something as simple as this would work for you

ahhh no need for any of that,

just had a look online, my powerwasher only uses 6ltr per minuit.

my shurflo pump delivers 6 ltr per min, so I think if I stick that on full flow, happy days!

brilliant, no customisations needing to take place.

Bill , I understand what you are saying but you will still need to switch your pump on which will use up battery life when there is no need. Your flow rate will get less the weaker the battery becomes hence no pressure from your lance (water starvation) at the end of the day. Ed

I literally only use the jetwash for rinsing and applying snowfoam, its like 10 mins of action so its no big deal not like im cleanin a drive or ewt,

And i have split relay charger on my wfp system so if battery gets lower than 10v i can just start engine up, but if never does drop

Bill , no probs . I have a 650 tank for when i'm on the glass but used it today to pressure clean a restaurant entrance . Only one hose to contend with on the high street . Ed
