I wonder how much more there is to this story.

How does it take 6 years for something as sensitive as this to reach the court?

I assume it went to probate and then the nephew contested the will.
These types of situations can take ages to sort out and the solicitors usually make a nice amount of money along the way.

Same thing happened round here.

Seems unfair to the nephew but it was the old dears money.
Least she didn't leave it to a cats home.

And I wonder what 'seeing to her needs' meant?
