Bit bizarre.

Maybe they are trying to come across as 'we are not after your money - we are caring and trying to help you'? So then  hoping that they may think 'ah, that's nice of them - but you know to be honest I think I would rather get them to do it anyway'?

Bit of psychology possibly? That's all I can think of. Either that or they are filtering out the price shoppers?

It may be just a way of driving and increasing traffic the the site using the keywords "Homemade Carpet Cleaning Solution".....which also adds to the sites content.

If you look in the navigation menu, the page does not seem readily available as far as I can see, so I would assume the site owner may not wish prospective customers to see it.

I could understand that if they were running say, WP Mage and creating 5,000+ long tail pages but this is a "normal" carpet cleaning site. Surely this is counter productive?

I asked myself the same thing except I'm looking at sites that are obviously getting good results.
