Just wondering should you use silicon grease when putting new seals in the pump
Many thanks in advance

Yes but sparingly - you can extrude seals with too much grease behind seals. Its just to lube assembly

I've been meaning to service my pump, just keep putting it off cos I find its a right pain in the rear.

Must get it done this month. Where's best for pump service kits?... Usual PW supplies sites or do hydraulic or other shops supply them?

Just get them from your usual supplier - who you use for nozzles, unloaders etc. If your pumps not leaking oil or water from the tell tale hole or emulsifying the oil then I'd just do the valves. I also do the unloader each year. Gearbox pumps don't need valves quite as often as direct drive.
