Plate seems slightly small to me.
I've got 5mm steel similar width but about 150mm long too.
And 2 nuts so you get a 'locker'
I'm no expert though. Perhaps mine is overkill.
I'm more of a 'belt & braces' kind of lad though.

we use quarter inc for our plates and there 5  times bigger then yours  ! how ever we do have a lot more weight to keep bolted to the floor I would guess theres 500 kgs in the carpet cleaner without the 700 lt steel tank its stood on

As yet we do not know what sort of tank is being fitted. It could be a Challenger or possibly a Thomas. Even a Septic ;D

Going on the fact he is selling a 500L Setup. I am guessing looking at the pictures they are what used to hold in the tank. He is asking if they look strong enough.

Going on them looking used and rusty.

Could be wrong though.

These were fitted to the 500l system yes.

I was after the general consensus as to whether they were suitable as fittings.

Given that one plate is bent, and one bolt had a random piece of pipe as a spacer, I wanted to know the thoughts on here.
