Spent £90 so far for a 1/8 elbow
« on: February 08, 2014, 10:30:12 am »
My 200gpd went bang this week and I have spent all week trying to figure out why...

I bought a new housing which cracked.... then 2 new 100 GPD membranes...
and while I was at it I bought 10 L resin becuase I was low.. so far the cost is £90

and it still was not working....AARGH....

I was on the phone with a supplier this morning and I noticed that water was not going into the first membrane... so I opened it up and LOW and BEHOLD...  the 1/8 non return elbow was FEN broken.... which will cost £3 to replace....

AARGH such a little thing and so much hassle...

Tell me about it.  Changed a leisure battery, a pump and some hoselocks before finding a john guest fitting wasn't quite up to it :) .  At least I've got plenty of spares now :)
