Hi, i have just started a cleaning business and just wanted to ask a few questions regarding being self-employed.

1 - If I am earning under £5500 in the first year is it worth me applying for small earnings exemption certificate?

2- Is it worth having a business bank account? (Most of my clients pay me cash apart from a couple which is bank transfer.)

3- Do I need an accountant to go through my books once a year?
