The Academy wishes to engage an economic operator to provide the Services
in respect of school building cleaning.
The ultimate provider of the service will have due regard for all
legislation, BSI and European standards, goods and accepted service
practice implicit in the Specification (supplied at tender stage) and
public/user health and safety. The provider will also be required to
ensure that its operatives are experienced and qualified to a competent
standard, whereby the Academy is satisfied that operations are being
carried out at the appropriate skill level. The Academy is looking for a
service that will build upon the level of service currently being received
and to improve standards across the board. The Specification is ultimately
output based.
The Academy is looking for a provider to provide a service which results
in clean buildings. This contract will not be managed on number of hours
provided, but on whether the overall result is clean and presented and all
areas of the building are hygienic.

(f) the educational and professional qualifications of the service
provider or contractor and/or those of the undertaking's managerial staff
and, in particular, those of the person or persons responsible for
providing the services or managing the work;
