Just heard on the Radio that certain Water Companies are proposing a non esential use order.

This would mean public buildings could not be  cleaned outside.

Car washes closed etc.


Could be serious for the Cleaning industry.

Went to Public Enquiry re Drought Order a few years ago (3 Valleys Water). Wast of time.
They ignored all the objections including mine.
From memory they only allowed cleaning work to prevent health risks, so that would knock any exteriors on the head.
Could have serious implications.

Just add an "anti-bacterial" chemical to your detergent, then you are preventing health risks and you are covered, surely.

Exterior cleaning, if you are jetting away "doggie-doo" then you are preventing health risks (if the dog isnt wormed, children can be blinded)

Who knows what bacteria are present in general grime.... so the health risk argument should be easy to use......
