What size pole would I need to clean solar panels on a normal 2 storey house.

I am about to buy a new pole and would like to add solar panel cleaning to my resume.

to play safe 45ft pole.

I use a 47 extreme and most times i could have got away with a 40ft pole

in a strange way its not height but the distance / angle to the panels, as mention 47 extreme seems the poplar choice

You could buy a 25' extreme and put extension kits on for the odd solar job and just use it as an everyday pole for windows. A 25' reaches 3-storey too, so no need to change poles all the time. A 25' extreme does it all!

Thanks all, would it have to be an xtreme, or would a slx 47 be ok? just not sure how much solar panel cleaning I would do to justify the extra cash outlay for an xtreme

If you got for SLX you might want to get an extra long gooseneck.
The bend in the slx would mean the clamps would probably catch on the gutter.
