strange runs down windows
« on: January 22, 2014, 04:32:19 pm »
got a guy who i clean for, his windows have streaks down all of his windows and no matter how hard i scrub they wont come off, there coming from the seals but its not normal dirt, looks like snail trails wont shift, you can only see it in direct sunlight. the lady opposite has same thing but not as bad and the windows where fitted by same company,
is it something im doing wrong? or is it a problem with the windows?  ???

Has this just started happening or has it been this way from the start?

Sounds like water runs coming from dodgy seals. A scrub with your finger normally shifts it
To climb mount fuji you must first find a path

There not new , I'm not sure if they were already there, I've Benin cleaning there for about 6 months but only just noticed due to low lying sun beaming directly at windows, they owner has never noticed them so I'm assuming it's caused by me, I thought windows with bad seals just drip a bit of dirty water and you get spotting? This is really hard to get off like a very thin layer of glue or summut

Seen quite a few of these this last few weeks and was worried.

Damp air and pollution is the cause I think.

Does it come off with WFP?

Hopefully don't get that up here, would be a pain having to do them trad.

They are greasey runs. Like a vertical snail trail. Yes they don't. But with effort.

They come up clean with wfp or trad, and these marks shouldnt appear after a clean, you normally see them after some time has passed.
Just dirt pulling from the rubber but is different to marks that causes spot runs (streaks) from wfp or even streaks from trad with soap geting stuck in rubber. and is worse after bad weather like damo put it, damp and pollution etc.
