Flocked brushes have split ends at the terminal of a filament, they tend to scrub well but have more of a tendency to capture dirt in the brush. Unflocked have no split at the end of a filament and don't tend to hold as much dirt in the bristles. It might be worth trying a Gardiners brush, medium mixed brush seems to do a tidy job and may be lighter than what you are now using.

The only difference is that mono make a noise on leaded windows, like ..bump,bump,bump and flocked don't
Anyone brave enough on here to recommend a good brush that is not one of Gardiners as finding a goodlight brush that also lasts more than a few months is like trying to find the Holy Grail.
