http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/nhs/10512382/Dangerous-GP-surgeries-are-named-and-shamed.html

The commision has secretly inpsected doctors surgeries around England and discovered many of them to be health hazards with dirty carpets being a particular issue.

Its an opportunity for carpet cleaners as Surgeries are rated, low ratings affect the GP's salaries and this is all most care about. So start making a list of a Surgeries, big or small in your area and write to the practice managers quoting this report and offering to carry out a santizing carpet chairs (and curtains) clean once a month quarter what ever.

Offer to issue them with a visable certificate of cleanliness with dates (signed or stamped) when last cleaned and next clean due.

Could open up a whole new business stream for local CC.No doctors surgery wants to be know as a health cease pit and clean carpets etc is one way to reassure patients.

Get you calls and letters done now while its hot news...

I've been banging on about this for months now. Not surprising when a lot of their houses are in the same state.

We sent a mailshot to all the doctors surgeries / health centres in our area about 6 months ago, didn't get a dickybird - despite us having one regular health centre that we do every 6 months, the manager of which endorsed our letter.
