Business structure

Hi,
Just in process of setting up for new venture next year.
I was originally intending to do ovens with carpets as a sideline however the more I've read on this and other forums and the more market research I've done I'm now swaying towards carpets more than ovens.
Would value any opinions on the pros and cons of running a combined oven and carpet business against either a separate oven or carpet one.
Would upholstery/leather be a better addition to a carpet business than ovens.
Thanks in advance
Dave

You should really have upholstery as part of the carpet cleaning anyway. When starting off you need to bringing as much money in as possible so try anything. When I started I did carpets, suites, ovens, garden tidies, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, really anything I was asked. Over time you can concentrate on one aspect if you like.
