Fan or Spray jets?
« on: March 14, 2006, 10:20:47 pm »
I currently use spray jets and lift the brush off the glass to rinse.

Am thinking about changing to fan jets but can't find a place that sells them.

Any one use fan jets and know where i can get some?

Cheers Darren

I have just bought some from cleantec and put them in today, bit of a disapointment i must say the bore seems too large, i normally set varistream to 1.5lpm to 2lpm but with these fan jets i had to turn flow up to 3lpm to 3.5lpm just to get water to spray in a fan, but having said that when they do fan there good and seem to give a good coverage for the area of the brush

Cleantec have some finer spray nozzles there going to send me so will try then to see if there any better

I will say that if Cleantec tell you to drill 8mm hole in your brush I wouldn't I would drill 7mm they'll be a better fit

Hi
Just to follow that thought of Chris.

I found that cutting a small V with a Stanley knife allowed enough room for my jets to spray out, as I wanted.

I also used the smaller ones from Cleantech, I think I was told they are the ones used on Back-Pack set-ups.
