Once the color been damaged nothing more to do. Unless you want to apply new dyes.
but also depends what exactly the problem is there.

Helpmate was replaced with DyeGone.

The original post is in regard to colour loss from Vanish.

Colour repair pens or dye kit is your best option if the customer will pay.

I misread your post mate , thought you had said varnish, i must wear my glasses in future when on thisforum ! Lol
To be honest there is no bleeching agents in vanish , the whitish area that you talk about must just be soap residue and needs flushing out! Try fibre and fabric rinse

I have to say Ive had a few 'Vanish' bleach spots so there's something in it (if the custy is to be believed).
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

There is an 'oxidising agent' in some Vanish products Stuart, unfortunately.

Having taken woolsafe training and taken there exam I know that any company that wants to use there logo has to abide by there strict guidelines! I know the likes ofvanish is the bane of our lives as it only appears to work on tbe telly!
Never the less it does have the woolsafe logo meaning it dosent contain any bleeches, any optical brighteners or enzyms

The data sheet says hydrogen peroxide content  ...

http://www.molevalleyfarmers.com/mvf-static/reports/product/pdf/52110.pdf

and customers probably ignore the dilution rates and water temp.

Woolsafe criteria does allow a small % of peroxide content. I can't remember off top of my head what it is but it's in the single figures.
