Dave,
How many square yards / metres in total?

Simon

It's around 150sqm of cream wool Simon, but the size is only part of the cost equation - it's stuffed with furniture, which all needs moving, and returning.

Sounds a bit defensive, just thought I'd chip in as you'd started the thread asking for input.  We've all got our own ways. Iv certainly lost a few due to a high price. I wasn't saying to go in low and break your back for peanuts jeeeez lol

Dave,

If you get the job ask them to place the chairs on the tables at the end of service and check that they will replace the furniture the next morning. Most places will agree to this without a problem. With that agreed you can start at the furthest point, clean a section and then place furniture on it. As you complete more sections in this way you will end up with one large section with no need to move more furniture, which will speed things up no end.

Erm, let me think now..... Well yes, I've done the odd big job in my time ;D
Nothing too big just the odd 1,000 yard restaurant in a morning.
