using hot water on add on jobs.

so i have my first s/f/g clean to do soon with hot water.they are pretty dirty.i have a brand new stiff sill brush to use on it.do you guys just whack the heat up and scrub away or do you use virosol/tfr as well?

I'd still use virosol et al before scrubbing they all work well with hot water

I just use hot and a extreme dual trim brush.
dont use chemicals anymore, the time i used to spend spraying g/f/s's i would of finished one side

thank you, I'm obviously not a proper window cleaner or part of CIUE or I would have realised that  :D

daz to answer your question from someone who uses hot from a gas boiler and virosol, hot is all you need, in fact you will find it better, whack the heaat up as far as it will go and enjoy a clean that is going to be quicker than you have experienced before, id bet my back eye on it

cheers michael.i get a lot of these add on jobs mainly in spring and summer but a few in winter as well.i usually hook up to customers outside taps if its a conny roof clean but ill be getting a new van and bigger tank next year.for f/s/g cleans i usually just use my pure water as i always clean the windows afterwards so it saves faffing about.


half way on my L5 heater will make the water very hot at brush end!! ;D
