Is it wrong that i prefer working in the cold months??
« on: November 23, 2013, 12:22:48 pm »
On a fresh morning slightly Frosty i seem to be more alert, up ready and out!
I always finish early and seem to enjoy putting on more layers.
However obviously i dont like the rain and snow! Or cold hands.
Is this normal from a cold water system  :o

when i was 21 the cold didnt bother me.still doesnt that much to be honest but you feel it a bit more when your 42.

its the faffing about with heaters and making sure pumps etc dont freeze i find more of a pain than actually working in it!! ;D ;D

give me a nice sunny day in the middle of spring/summer without a cloud in the sky any day over working in winter though!! ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!

I loathe working on hot, sunny days. The constant staring up into direct or reflected sunlight is turning my once almond like complexion into something closer to a raisins resemblance. I know that this makes me sound like a bit of a fruit and nutcase.

Feel the same I would rather work on cooler days seem to get a lot more done.
It just proves that you do need to be slightly nutty to clean windows for a living.

I hate working in the summer months! Nothing worse than doing inside offices on a hot day, or workin on a conservatory roof with the sun on you all day! However i do love all the new customers summer brings!
Having said that i have had a surge of newbys recently

Haha good topic! Was just thinking this today.

I like the colder months as it's darker earlier. So it means I get an evening to myself. I can't stop myself from working on projects etc when the sun is out at 8pm.

I am faster in colder weather as well.

Usually manage to hit target a good hour earlier :)

Love it. 3pm is best when the light starts to go and you start thinking of home. I'd much rather work on a cold day than hot. Also can't beat a brew on a cold one.
