Description of the contract:
The awarding authority is a two form entry school situated approximately 2.5 miles from the specified location. The school has the capacity to take 450 children aged between three and eleven years
and this is supplemented by 50 teaching and support staff.
The facilities include a Large and a Small Hall; a separate Dining Hall; various offices and a Staffroom; a Nursery; two small communal library areas; an ICT suite and 16 classrooms.
The school has strong links with its local community and holds a number of evening and weekend classes and meetings.
The Cleaning Provider must be able to offer a high profile, professional, quality assured and valued cleaning service. Quality must not be compromised for a lower cost and this can be best achieved
by the Cleaning Provider:
a) employing an experienced, trained and well-motivated workforce
b) providing an appropriate level of experienced and qualified supervision and contract management
c) purchasing good quality cleaning equipment and materials.
In addition to the provision of a high quality daily cleaning service, the Cleaning Provider is required to work closely with the School?s management to identify and implement opportunities and
initiatives for service improvement.
