Will be using it with a merlin unit. I like that it holds water to keep the pressure constant.

Mick that looks a good pump I'm sure that's good enough to run a 4040
Have alook at the Clarkes pumps

Depends on your mains pressure. That thing shuts off at 3.5 bar (50psi) I get that from the tap.
