Panic attack..on The glass
« on: October 11, 2013, 04:10:41 pm »
There I was merrily rubbing merrily with my little pole on one of the 3 upstairs panes I slid my brush head casually onto the middle one. start to agitate and BANG.. The bustrd swings open inward… Brush on full spray, me stumbling 3 fort forward helluva job to withdraw brush from middle of the bedroom.. Spray everywhere.. Bloody customer hadn't locked the window… Is this common…  Luckily he came home shortly after and said it was his fault for not locking it… Phew…

Yes it happens occassionally. Its only water - it will dry.

I started to wash a patio door before I realised it was open.  ;D

Unfortunately, it took what appeared to be forever before I worked out what the problem was.

Happened to me once - very embarrassing !
Fitted triggers after that - water just stops when you let go !

Had one the other week, funny enough.

And the custard had left a vase or something on the sill inside, and I was lucky it didn't fall off.

It happened as the window wouldn't lock properly.

Grrr, close one.
