It is the intention of the Council to enter into one long-term agreement
in respect of services to be provided as follows: A contract for Corporate
Building Cleaning Services. Contract for which the key objectives are:
To provide a high standard of cleaning to various types and size of
buildings,
Improve customer satisfaction,
To provide a flexible service, responsive to site and user specific
requirements,
The Contractor to work closely with the council,
The Contractor to carry out a system of robust self auditing,
The service demonstrates continuous improvement,
The service demonstrates environmental improvements and demonstrates an
awareness of environmental issues relating to the contract and a
willingness and capability to minimise negative impact on the environment
by effective use of working practices and products, in particular, water,
chemicals, energy and waste minimisation.
Council properties that fall within the scope of this contract include
(but are not limited to): Public buildings, Social Care properties and
Education properties.
