Had a call from a lady today wanting a sculptured wool rug dyed.  Ive never beed asked before and not about to attempt it, as I have

enough drama's in my life at the moment 

Just wondered whether anyone actually did this and if it is actually possible ?

I said I would find out for her, its obviously just one colour and they want it a darker colour apparently ?

Don't bother Steve not worth it you'll get the wrong shade of what ever by a shade one something like that, used to get that all the time when I worked at franklins they used to send them to another place and put a commission on but there was always complaints.

I'm sure a read that chemspec are doing a colour re dye course with pens used for touch ups perhaps john Kelly May know more.

It does sound a tricky business and have no intentions of doing it myself, was just curious if anyone did it and what the process was !

Rainbow International used to offer this service, not sure whether they dropped completely it or some of the franchises are still carrying out this type of work.

As Shaun has already said it isn't as straightforward as it may seem
