What's the best way to clean a sebo duo??

Is the recommended way, not to put water in the tray and run the machine.

Use a fork ( when the wife is not looking) run the machine in situ then place the fork between the brushes.
Hold on tight to it though.All the muck flys out.
Then remove brushes ( 4 screws) and clean in warm warter and extraction fluid, rinse off and hey presto they look like new again.

Thanks for the replies, i normally clean in hot water, but i'll give the fork a try might make it easier.

If the boss catches me i'll tell her who told me to do it  ;D ;D

take them out blast all the hair etc with a pressure washer, like new again.
