Homemade bonnets
« on: September 29, 2013, 10:36:39 am »
Anyone looked into making their own bonnets?

I use folded cotton towels and they really get dirty even after bonneting with normal bonnets, I'm sure they remove more dirt than manmade fibre bonnets

I've been looking for a company that sells old, used hotel towels and then getting a seamstress to stitch them into a circle

The Argo company in the USA used to sell a square machine that use. Towels to bonnet clean carpets

You can tell its mossy as he's contemplating whether to give it or take it with Ash.

Sounds like a good idea. Ask the local charity shops to keep you any white towels they get in

How many cotton towels would you need to make a decent bonnet? My mum is a seamstress and could do this  easy.

I could send one to someone to see if it works?
