tips-don't drill the side of your van.
There is always a route out from load space underneath, usually in the rear pillar.
Always better to use existing routes rather than cutting chunks out of your wagon.
If you are confident with a soldering iron you should be fine with the spanner for gas and hoselock for water of an L5 on LPG.
You can't not go hot this time of year surely? It's only a matter of weeks before it's brass monkey's time again

dont want to put a damper on you going hot .i did last 2 years found it a pain in the arse heater stop start you run the risk of cracking glass. hot freezez quicker .i had a very scary moment last year i was doing a custys house. she came out to see if i wanted a brew i said yes but be care full i aint grited round path yet  any way out she came forgot i had left a ice rink she slipped. hot tea all over only thing that stopped her hurting her self is that she fell against the garage door . i shat my self ive still got the heater in the shed if its that cold i just sack it untill it gets a bit better or on small jobs go trad with screen wash in bucket.

No idea bud.
I wouldn't worry about how popular a heater is though.
You want one that will be suitable for you.
Personally, I'd have the L5. (Well, I've got an L5)
It's a great bit if kit.
Your plumber mate should have no trouble.

As for being 21-we all were once.
Don't say it like you don't know anything. You might. I know some 18 year olds that are more clued up than 50 year olds.
Think positive-you may be smarter than the average bear.
Smarter than the average shiner anyway.

The heater is a simple job mate. Bell me next week and I can talk you through it.

Don't like them myself but it's a simple enough job.

Dave if the water is hot or cold it will still freeze on the floor if its cold !!!
I've had my fog wash for a few years which only use in winter times wouldn't be without one as you don't have to have it very hot just nice and warm so the hoses are nice soft and flexible. It doesn't freeze up when the hose is sitting on frosty grass when you have to change poles or stop for some reason and the jets freeze. All in all who ever is thinking about getting a portable shower hot wash go for it !!!

dont want to put a damper on you going hot .i did last 2 years found it a pain in the arse heater stop start you run the risk of cracking glass. hot freezez quicker .i had a very scary moment last year i was doing a custys house. she came out to see if i wanted a brew i said yes but be care full i aint grited round path yet  any way out she came forgot i had left a ice rink she slipped. hot tea all over only thing that stopped her hurting her self is that she fell against the garage door . i shat my self ive still got the heater in the shed if its that cold i just sack it untill it gets a bit better or on small jobs go trad with screen wash in bucket.

Salt the path before starting the clean if anyone about mate.

The trouble with that is mate certain drives and paths arnt suppose to have salt thrown on them as it can affect the sealers etc.

I just dont clean where the rain wouldn't hit if it's gonna freeze.
Saves work. And salting etc.
Very very rarely will someone say 'what about my front door' etc.
I make a point of going straight back to the van and scrimming the door.
Really take my time.
Then give them the old 'I don't do this for anyone else, only my favourite customers'
