I have a private school i do work for & they asked me what would be the best thing to remove black shoe polish from carpet tiles. This is a big problem for them. So i thought i would ask the experts.

Ultapac Renovate, Citrus Gel, Solvall, POG. Shouldn't be a problem.

Hi Guys

Before you start applying solvents check the tiles do not have a bituminous backing, just wipe some white spirit or POG/Solvall along the side of one of the tiles.

If bituminous then you will need to avoid solvents or use very sparingly, if not should be quite easy.

Cheers

Citrus gel might be good in that case, being less likely to get through to the backing.

Should just wipe off with ultrapac and then rinse out.

removed a fairly bad black shoe polish staining over a large area on mercedes light coloured carpets using orange x, simple spray/dwell and  wipe straight off... thought it would be a problem but it was fairly instant removal.....
