Does anyone know if the L5 works off of Butane? A heating technician told me butane was much safer to carry in a vehicle as it is under less pressure and would be less of an issue with insurers. Besides its what I use for my Barbque ;D  ;D

butane is a little safer. but there is no difference in insurance, plus butane only works at certain temps, so when it get winter time the gas becomes to heavy to use.

propane is better for use outside in colder weather.

plus when I told my insurance that I have heater and propane gas bottle the cost went up by £0.00!!!

Not sure on pressure etc bud.
It will run from butane but you'll need a different regulator.
You want propane anyway as it has a lower freezing temperature than butane.
You don't want to go out in -10 winter to find your water AND gas frozen up.

It's just the internet. Try not to worry.
