Description of the contract:
Provision of Cleaning Services at the specified location.
The Governors of the specified location are looking to award a contract for the cleaning of the school.
The Services for the schools will include providing daily cleaning of the site buildings during term time, deep cleaning during the summer holidays. Interim cleans during half term, specialist high
level cleaning (when required). Out of hours cleaning may also be required for school functions.
It is likely that TUPE of existing staff will be applicable.
The Governors are particularly interested in submissions from progressive organisations with a proven track record in the state school cleaning sector. The Governors are committed to safeguarding and
promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff, volunteers and contractor personnel to share this commitment.
The contract will operate for 3 years from 7th April 2014 and may be extended for up to two further periods of one year.
