Depends on what you're trying to clean as they all have slightly different properties.

environ is very good, but if the carpet is slightly dirty, then the minimum dilution rate is not enough...

Dirty carpets are where you really are going to come unstuck. You have to know the limitation of your system and market the market that fits its capabilities.
If you're planning to make a career of this you really need to get the quality aspect of things so they are top notch. This is a results based business and the only way people will come back to you in the future, or as importantly, recommend you to others is if the quality is first class. Encap, although excellent on low profile office carpets is severely limited, especially in the domestic market where you will encounter carpets it simply cannot deal with to the required standard.
Try and have a day out with an experienced professional and get a better view of what you are up against.

Just out of interest, how much are thinking of charging for carpet cleaning and how are you going to clean suites?

I hoping to earn about £20 an hour to start with Simon and increase prices as I get established, and will be lm on suites too.

The thing is getting established means producing results that are good enough to deserve loyalty. Lm'ing is a skill in its own right and you have to know where and where not to use it, which is why the majority of professional carpet cleaners have at their disposal the means to clean any carpet regardless of condition. Jason Lawal is in Sheffield and is a skilled and experienced practitioner of LM, he might be worth contacting.

Simon are you implying that Hector is not highly skilled in LM ;D

Hector just out of curiosity what LM system do you use? and what cleaning solution would you recommend for a slightly soiled (mainly drink spills) low profile carpet tiles in an office.

Richard,

Don't expect a Christmas card this year....  :P :P

 ;D

Richard, without seeing the carpet I cannot be 100% sure, but most probably Nemesis pre-spray, brush in with stripey pad, then after a dwell of about 20 mins spray nemesis again for a bit of lubrication and bonnet off with microfibre pad.
Then a quick burst of floral deo spray.
