i liked the idea of having 3 dif sprays at hand at once instead of going back and forth to van, anyone know of any others like this?

how do you find it andy?

is it worth the money?
is it a good bit of kit?
is it heavy with the 3 bottles?

andy and steve could i ask if you use portys of t/m's
could i be that the people getting rust problems are using a t/m and leaving it in the van with the steam and condensation
and the ones not getting the prob are using portys?

I've had one for three years and find it great, though I only tend to use mine for stainguard.

I thin you are better off having dedicated sprayers for each application as you can never get the nozzles and pipework perfectly clear of the previous product and you always require different nozzle sizes depending on what you are doing.

prochem renovate
and a protector

I had mine given to me,so cant say what theyre like for the money,if i had to pay for one new i wouldnt have it because im tight , id buy a decent pump up sprayer instead, like everything else it needs rinsing through/cleaning to aviod the jet blocking, its not heavy but when moving it about i tend to gat hooked up on the lance

Iv'e got one, and the frame rusted badly, cable kept twisting, it packed up a few times so i had to strip the pump down inside as it used to stick and the jet went. Apart from that they are great.

Better to buy cheap garden sprayers like i did. They work okay or pressure sprayer for tms.

I have had mine for 10 years now yes it can get a little chipped but all you have to do is touch it up I must say though you just cant wear it out I recomend it. Just look after it well and you wont be disappointed.

If using a hydroforce you can buy spare bottles with a screw lid from ebay.com ive been meanig to get some for ages and youve just reminded me thanks there cheep too.

I was looking at these only yesterday on extracta site. I imagine they`re like anything else, look after it.... it will look after you. Seems better value for money than those plasticky spray mate thingys. Looks the biz for the customer aswell.

Had one for about seven years and its just pact up on me now and yes i will be getting annother one within the next week or so. Good value for money,
and sure as hell beats having to pump up and down on a manual sprayer

I use a couple of rechargeable sprayers (5 litre) made by draper, there about £70 and absolutely magic, a full charge lasts about a week and you can go anywhere with them without plugging in, probably not as powerful as the extracta type, but way better than any of the pump up types and cheap enough to have several for different applications!

Am I correct in saying you cant use solvent carpet protection in the Drapers

must admit never used it for carpet protector, mostly as a prespray, but can't see why not, there intended use is for pesticides etc and are fairly rugged, i will have to look into it

Steve: that Draper machine sounds just the job. Certainly better than constantly pumping a weedkiller spray.
