For me it is a no brainer.

On a first clean, especially where it is a full clean to gutters facias doors etc etc, I simply hook up to the punters tap and blast off all of the crud. If they are nice people or good payers I may finish off windows with pure wfp, and even give a trad finish to some of the downstairs.

Why is it that there is so little discussion about using tap water??


I don't advertise pure water cleaning, If you do you should be using pure water.

Round here the TDS is 350ish. You can't use tap water for anything!

If, like you, I have a particularly dirty first clean or conservatory roof to clean then yes I do, the tap pressure is often more powerful than the pump at full flow and it saves me time, effort and my pure water. I am in a hard water area however, so I still always finally rinse with the pure.

It is not theft if you ask first.

I do a lot of holiday lets on the coast, many of them have hot showers outside for people coming off the beach, I sometimes hook up to those for a hot wash....
