 Thanks Mark
just got back from survey. it's 40metres of high quality smooth finish flags which are in a right state on North facing patio. think i might look into the resiblock water based product which they have recommended it's called Resieco and is applied with squeegee and watering can. they are sending a free sample.

Wonder if anyone's tried this stuff?

xylene is a carrier / solvent , it is  not a sealant.
do not roll seal flagstones as you will get awful edges where the excess runs and you will also get pooling.
the best thing to do is spray acrylic  that has been at least 50/50 cut with xylene, and start on a part that does not show. they will have to be bone dry or you will get ghosting and no amount of overspraying will lift it out.
if they are yorkies they can be a nightmare

Hi guys,
just wondered what kit you would use to spray with?
i have in the past used a solution you mix with water and apply with a watering can to protect block paving but never what you are talking about,

cheers
