Portables
« on: July 22, 2013, 07:37:10 pm »
I got talking yesterday to a guy i used to work with. 18 months ago he set up his own CC company and is doing very well.  He is now looking at buying a portable to run as a second set up and he has asked me which one i think would be best suited as he knows i still keep in touch with a lot of CC guys.

He wants a high end portable which is going to be a Cleansmart Airflex Storm or the Solutions Jag 6.6.  SO......i said id ask a few questions and pass on my findings to him to think about.  I know both machines perform basically at the same spec in terms of vac & water pressure.  What i need to know is.....does the Jag 6.6 still have the issue with the vac motors?

Why doesnt he he buy the same machine he already uses if it has served him well , and doing well ?

after all maintenance isssues would be simpler having same machine surly.

Hi Jim, he wants the power of the Airflex Storm or  Jag 6.6.  Ive used the Jag so i know what its capable of......but i dont want to say to him YES go for the Jag if its still got the problems with the vac motors blowing.

I have an Ashbys Enforcer and an Alltec Express.
Both machines have the same motors and similar performance, the Alltec is great for the smaller jobs or the hard to access areas... Love the inline heat exchanger too build quality is typical if Alltec.
I end up using the Express more on the smaller jobs... Ideal for cleaning Auto upholstery.
