Setup query?
« on: July 26, 2013, 06:54:52 pm »
I've DIY'd my system as some of you are aware of. A couple of days ago I replaced the hose from 50 meters of red worn stuff, to my nice new Gardiners 100 meter microbore.

My query is this: The old red hose had a little hole in it, which ment that after every house the pressure was lost and my van got a little wet  ;D

Now, when I turn the controller off, reel the hose in, put the pole away etc, I open the tap end and it could take someones head off  ;D

Is it ok to leave that much pressure in there, or is it wise to let a little out?

How about leaving the pressure over the weekend for example?

I dont want to get to my van one morning and its blown the DI up  ;D

I don't use a controller so the reel is under full pressure, when I've finished I always de-pressurise.
Its better not to have all the connections under pressure ;D
