Booster pump req'd - any recommendations?
« on: July 23, 2013, 02:49:49 pm »
My water pressure is quite low. All filters & ro working ok but, water just trickling out into tank. So thinking of buying a b. pump. Just wondered if any of you fellas can give me some decent brands to go for and ones to avoid? Many thanks.

Boosts mine from 30 to 80 psi pay around another 40 quid and you can get it with a pressure gauge that will turn the pump off

I use http://m.screwfix.com/p/karcher-gp40-650w-garden-irrigation-pump-240v/66093?filtered=true

Gives me 80psi, had it 3 years now
have you got it inline from the mains or are you pumping from a tank. also it says not for continuous running?

From mains.  It fills my 1000l ibc in 3 hours so that's as long as it runs!
