I bought these a good few years ago:

http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/shop/index.php?option=com_aceshop&route=product/product&filter_name=mitts&product_id=330&Itemid=73

The best things I bought (back when I used ladders), made it feel much safer while on the ladders &  they have hardly worn at all!!

Hope this helps.

That's the same as the ones I was on about. 25p cheaper too! Mind you check delivery costs ...

Thanks chaps, I had a gutter clean yesterday and my vac couldn't get into the corner below a gully - so the ladders had to come out. Trouble was they marked the upvc a little.
