Under carpet heating
« on: July 16, 2013, 02:07:53 pm »
I have been asked to clean some carpet with"step warm" under carpet heating fitted and wonder if anyone has any experience with it.
I am attempting to contact the supplier but am having difficulty getting hold of them for tech enquiries.
The heating system lays on the top of floorboards and carpet laid on top so it is not underfloor heating as such.
Thanks
Gary

can't see a problem, if its passed a safety test to be fitted in homes then it should be (to a degree) water proof as many people have spills and floods in there home.

It should be under a membrane anyway, if not it will be under the underlay ( just keep an eye on your psi)

It ays to get these things checked out tho!

Thanks again
