Is it what it says? Two DI vessels and water passing through both?
If so and I know it may sound like a mad question (I am relatively new to the game) what are the benefits. I have always used one vessel and that has worked fine.

If you connect 2 you use less resin. When your output is anything other than 0 replace the resin in the first one, move the second one back so it is now first. The bottle with the new resin now goes second. You won't wast any resin.

If you do go down that route don't forget the periodically check the TDS of the first vessel because even though you can have 000 TDS from the last vessel the first one can get higher TDS than the tap water you are putting into it it accumulates dirt from the water.
Once it gets higher than the tap water TDS you are on inefficiency big time!

is double di sufficient for tds of 150 or should I go RO?

Depends how much water you use. It will work out cheaper in the long run with RO but it will take a while to cover the investment cost if you don't use much water. Are you on a meter? If you are that will dramatically effect the cost efficiency of an RO.

SO SO .. I dont use much water as still building work up and doing other job so am ok yet.. also not on meter . still baffled why it gone form 76 ish to 153 in 12 months.

I find it easier to filter the water through twin DI, and then into the tank as it saves space in the van, and it is easier to keep an eye on the tds.

I do this with no problems whatsoever and seems to be quicker. My mate up the road fills tanks through DI. Just personal preference I think.

I have DI on the truck, it means you can fill up anywhere.

Resin lasts longer if you put it after the pump.
