cant get on with the 55deg

ive been using the gardiner 55deg carbon goose neck instead of my old 45 deg one, and to me the angle feels wrong, it seem like you have to be too close to the house to get the brush to sit square on the window. the 45deg feels a much better working angle.
has anyone else found this?

55deg is the new standard angle gooseneck for everyday use, the 90deg is for solar panels.

Yea I've been using the 55 for a while, but it's really meant for higher reach. Angle isn't right, especially for ground floor.
If 55 degree is the new standard it would be a bad move. I've used it for several weeks but it's just not the right angle for residential, nowhere near.

i may be wrong that its the new standard angle, but i cant see an option for the new quick loc carbon goose neck to choose a 45 or 55, the picture has 55 written on the side.
will give it a try on higher work, but i think i will stick to my 45

Personally I think the 55 degree gooseneck is fine above ground and first floor.
My 35ft extreme came with two.
For ground and first floor I use a smaller pole with an adjustable resi-neck so I don't find it's an issue.
