Depends how old the pole is. If it is an older pole with a screw on brush socket then you have ordered the correct one.

If it is a newer pole with a QuicK-LoQ brush socket then you have ordered the wrong one - in this case it should have been this one - http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/QUICK_LOQ_Resi1.html.

I brought several quick loq resinecks but they are all so stiiff. The button that you push in is so stiff I have to use a knife or screw driver to push it in. It takes so long it defeats the object of having them.
Any advise ?

thanks
Tony

The button is designed to be fairly stiff to push in to avoid unwanted disconnection. I use the end of my thumb nail to push it in as I am holding the brush and this works well. It can be made less stiff though by removing the spring/button and bending the spring slightly so that it offers less resistance.

Cheers Alex, Its the screw in one i need. Im presuming the quick loq range has the button yes?

Looking forward to testing the new pole hose also, and gonna use my old brush head and fashion a 5ft pole out of an old pole I have in the garage.

I ordered today at 2pm Alex, when am I likely to recieve goods?

Ordered a new tap aswell which ill try to be more carefull with lol

If it is the screw in one you need then you have ordered correctly. Quick-LoQ does have the button on it.

I really have no idea of the order fulfillment turn-around today. I imagine that it would definitely go out by tomorrow to you for delivery on Friday - however there is a 7-10 day lead time on the new pole hose (as stated on the website product page) this is because of the high-demand of this offer. Best to ring the office to check if there is an urgent need.
