I used to work the odd Saturday-always picked up at least 5 or 6 new customers or one offs.
I'm trying my hardest to only ever work a 4 day week now.
You can't get back the time with the kids.

OP. Not to be negative but I know of quite a few cases where the dads have had their kids taken by their kids mums.
Lots of money spent by all.
Not a single Dad (I know of) got custody.
In fact, one guy I know spent the best part of 6 figures, years in/out of court, got married to show 'he's settled' worked all the hours to pay for lawyers on top of the debt and he got nothing.
In fact it sent him crazy.
He literally went mental.

Genuinely all the best with your challenge though.
Can't imagine many things worse.

sfwc what do you mean by desperate mate?
Like I said in my post we have to work weekends as we have other jobs and are working our socks off to get the business off the ground. We have been going about 16 months and things are going much better than expected. Doing things this way means we have to work wegekends-we really don,t have a choice if we want it to be a success. The only desperation from us is we are desperate to do well and desperate to run a successful cleaning company. We are getting there slowly but surely and will work weekends until we have to do so.
Desperate men do desperate things!!!
 ;)
get more staff.

In ten years of window cleaning I have worked 2 Saturdays. I have 3 kids and I became a windy to see more of them.

my ex of 20 yrs run off with my kids and, because of that i am having to extrude all areas to pay for a contact order of £10k plus.
to see mor of my kids...... ironic eh

you will need another 10k for more court action when she ignores the contact order ... ive been where your heading mate good luck with it  :(

I have been there too but it only cost me £90 which was the court fee at the time, served the papers on her myself.

She turned up with a solicitor , i was on my own ...........and i won .

The court people didnt take any crap off her at all.

i was lucky that the order scared her into behaving .

You don't have to have a successful business to be a successful. Unless money rules your life.

does anyone work on the windows saturday and sunday on a regular basis?

if so what is your response customer wise ?

not wanting hypothetical answers , just those that actually do them please
