Hi Russ, i would recommend a micelles based degreaser in combination with the Rota wash to achieve incredible results, Just wondering if its just carpets you clean or do you deep clean any hard floors, if you do let me know and i can offer you a solution that would be 20 times more effective than a Rota wash for deep cleaning hard floors.

Rotowashs are very poor at cleaning domestic carpets. No way could you clean EOT Carpets with one and get acceptable results.

You might be able to use an encapsulation chemical with them on CGD carpets but there are much cheaper machines that would do a better job than a rotowash.

Mike

What sort of machine would you recommend for a good price that would be great on dirty domestics?

Funny this

i (through a mate) just bought  one of these from the local auction tonight. I thought it would be usefull in schools / offices and continue to use my hwe machine for my main domestic jobs.
are these any good then and how effective are these on office carpets etc

cheers colin

As far as  i know they are good for commercial carpets and a few people who have them like them, just wonder if they would work on domestics

I'm a rotoash owner. I would only ever use it as a scrubbing machine prior to HWE. If you  plan to use it on its own I wouldn’t bother. It's not up to the job. I wouldn't have the nerve to charge someone for just using one.
