Can't stop 'em coming.
« on: June 03, 2013, 09:32:51 pm »
Today.

Just finish a commercial and am slowly driving over the speed bump on the access road to the next one when the unsignwritten offices next to me disgorge a pleasant looking lady aged about 40 who flags me down.

"Oh good a window cleaner!" she says ...

So price and get a monthly £30 job which I do after completing my intended custy. She paid me online straight away.

Then I'm out to my villages and scrubbing away at a semi-detached cottage when the adjoining neighbour who dropped me back in 2007 asks if she can start again. Upon enquiring as to why the change of heart she said her hubby didn't want to do it anymore. I said that the price wouldn't be £7 anymore (!) but if they have it done monthly then it would be £12 a "pop" which was readily agreed.

Then I get a text asking me if I can do a large Victorian Terrace as I did it six months ago as a one off for £25. I schedule it in for early next week.

Then I get a yes please to my semi-detached gutter/window/soffit clean quote from last Thursday for £100 all in which will have to wait to the next showery week.

Then blow me down; I get the go ahead for an every two month commercial at £90 a go.

I'm getting stacked out again but I s'pose I shouldn't complain...
It's a game of three halves!

ive been picking up a steady stream of add on jobs like conny roofs and fascia cleans from existing customers but new regular window cleaning customers are pretty scarce to be honest!!

hopefully that will change tonight as im going canvassing again on that big estate of 4 and 5 bedroom houses! ;) :) :)
price higher/work harder!

so price them up and give them a start date 2 weeks hence!

i don't do new job straight away unless the area they are in is due, otherwise they get done when im there, could be 3 weeks..
