Most companies provide a courtesy van if you pay extra so why go with A Plan?

My direct line policy provides a courtesy van of similar size.

Direct Line do, and for a competetive price & with great service. Couldn't fault them when someone went up the back of my van.


Most insurance companies will not insure vans with tanks bolted in, but A plan do.

A van of similar size without a wfp system fitted the extra payment to APlan is for a van with system . Mike

Yes, but he's saying all he got was the courtesy van- no system.

All I'm saying is you can get this with most insurers and whether or not you/they class a tank as a modification or whether you want to tell them or not.

You might aswell not pay the extra premium with aplan and hire a van yourself if you have a accident?

How do you know that they do not have any?

I was with ASwann for 2 years with replacement van and system inc in premium

switched to A plan and saved about £200 for near enough same cover with replacement van and system however there is a difference on the replacement van cover in 2 ways with ASwann you have to collect whereas Aplan will deliver BUT and this is from memeory as cant be ars ed to dig policy out with ASwann you have van and system for as long as your claim is going thru with Aplan I think its for 30 days max however dont shout if I have last bit wrong but most claims will be settled on the write off side of it within the 30 days anyways ... and i know for defo that Bobs was.
