Silicone sealant residue
«

Not carpet cleaning, but before I drive 8 miles to buy something from B&Q will any of the Prochem spot removers be any good for getting the sealant residue off the bath / tiles.
I have cut most of it out and used a paint scraper, but there are just little bits of residue hanging on.
Cheers

Other than what Paul recommended Citrus Gel needs a bit of dwell time

We use two types of solvent cleaners and both would do this easily.
The one is from a local supplier and is made up of Naptha and Acetone.
The other you can buy all over, including on the net. It's Siroflex Solvent Cleaner.
Another option if only a small amount, especially from tiles and glass is a Magic Eraser.
