What rotary are you using for bonnet cleaning?
« on: May 03, 2013, 12:58:34 am »
Just restocking my gear after a recent van fire. I`m gutted - I missed out on a texatherm system today on ebay by 10 quid while I was working! Looking for a reasonabely priced rotary for the odd bonnet clean I do which is mainly 1 hospital 3 times a year. I had a 170 rpm texatherm rotary which was good but wondered if a 200 would be any better. Also the tex rotary handled well on some really short pile polyprop carpet which the a dry fusion machine just wouldnt work on.

A heavy slower speed will be better than a 200 for that type of work. The Columbus machine is 300ish rpm.

Our Chemspec Rotabrite rotary machines are 50kg 20" 175rpm with longer handles that work on these types of carpet with minimum operator fatigue.

If you can pick up a victor Trojan that will handle like the Tex machine.
