Taking a closer look at the new clamp and their seems to be a washer/spacer between the lever and clamp body which seems like another good idea.

I still like the look of the phenix pole clamps though its a shame the pole don't have positive end stops  :(

I took the pheonix apart and  used tape to make the stops, so easy.
I really like the pheonix clamps, used the pole solid for just over 4 weeks and not adjusted the clamps yet.

You can, I have and so simple. Just loosen clamps, pull out one section, 1 wrap off tape and slide back in, then do same with next section. It takes all of 10 minutes to do.

Yes as mentioned, you can have positive stop on the Phoenix we may release a range with them in the future for those who want them. Very simple to add with the tape.

The Phoenix Pro is more ridged and lighter than other composites we've looked at. (Inc CLX)

Any one on here got both to confirm?

Both poles are good, but it's the Phoenix clamps that make the difference, excellent.
Stephen I have also emailed you from eBay, please would you have a look and let me know.
Thanks Darren
